The ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Phrophecy — by Trace De La Torre

Don't Touch LOLA!   People always told me TV would be DUNZO one day with the influx of New Media…and I said,  ‘Whatever!’

‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D’ proves more than ever that a NEW AGE is dawning for TV programming.

Of all the twists and turns in last night’s preem episode, two that stay with you amidst all the pyrotechnic-sci-fi magic are remarkably inconspicuous — though conceivably prophetic:

— ROAMING THOUGHT:  Could Agent Coulson be an Android…?

— QUOTE THAT STAYS WITH YOU: “You said if we worked hard, if we did right, we’d have a place. You said it was enough to be a man, but there’s better than man. There’s gods. And the rest of us, what are we? They’re giants, we’re what they step on.” — Mike Peterson or — quite possibly — Luke Cage

While we all wait with baited breath for the overnight Nielsen ratings, according to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ Fast National ratings, the Pilot episode averaged a 4.6 rating among adults 18-49 — bringing in 11.9 million viewers in the 8 p.m. time slot — topping NBC’s ‘The Voice’ and  ‘NCIS’ on CBS.

Kudos to ABC & Marvel for taking the small screen by storm!

Here’s a recap of the ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Trailer:
